Karen & Marty's Wedding

Karen and Marty hired me to photograph their wedding after they won a free engagement photo session in my "Win Your Wedding Photography" contest in 2008. It was a very typical rainy Nova Scotia type of day but they didn't let that dampen their spirits. It was a beautiful wedding and they spent the day surrounded with their closest friends and family.

Thank you so much Karen and Marty for allowing me to spend such a special day with you. The love that you have for one another and the friendship that you share is amazing. I hope to see more of you in the future!

Karen & Marty's Engagement Photo Session

Karen and Marty were the second place winners of my "Win Your Wedding Photography" contest in 2008. They won a free on-location engagement photo session and we decided that the beach would be the best place to capture their images. Simon, their cute little yorkshire terrier came along with them for the session and I totally wanted to stick him in my bag and take him home with me :) We had a lot of fun taking photos at Rainbow Haven beach but I don't think any of us had as much fun as Simon!

Karen, Marty and Simon...it was so great getting to know you! I am really glad that I was able to document your relationship through photographs for you. Thank you for being so much fun!

Introducing Baby Brooklyn

Nancy and I went to high school together and were able to reconnect through the wonders of facebook. I did a maternity session with Nancy and still have those photos to share but I just couldn't wait to introduce everyone to Brooklyn! She was just under three weeks old when this shot and I will be posting more images from this session soon.

Thank you Nancy for allowing me to photograph your little cutie. It has been great reconnecting with you and I hope to be seeing more of you and your family in the future.

Madden

I always have a blast photographing kids but I have never laughed so much before during a session as I did while I was photographing Madden! He is such a little ham in front of the camera and not shy at all :) As soon as I arrived to photograph him he was showing me his toys, checking out my camera equipment and trying on my shoes.
